My family and I just returned from a four night stay at 5 Branches where we rented a tent site and a cottage to accommodate four adults and a five year old. We had more space than we needed and we were pleasantly surprised with the lovely cottage! The campground provides the opportunity to “get back to nature” without totally roughing it in the wilderness. There are plenty of activities like horseshoes, volleyball, fishing, boating, tubing, biking, hiking and a small playground to keep you busy. You can put your feet up to relax with the sound of water and breezes through the trees, while watching the chipmunks, squirrels and birds that allow you to share their home. The grounds are kept clean and tidy “campground” style not city park.

Glad we decided to try this place even after some of the bad reviews. We had no trouble at all here, everyone was very friendly. They do patrol the area often but other than that, no issues. Great lake side campground, the most beautiful lake. Nice and calm for kayaking and quite fishing right out the back of our site.

If I had gone by the reviews that I read, we never would have gone to this great resort! Everyone was friendly, helpful and went out of their way to make our stay memorable! The staff went over and above to improve our stay and made us feel very welcome. The site of 5 Branches is beautiful and right on the lake. One of our best fishing adventures yet and we hope to repeat our visit yearly! Special thanks to Angela and Ray for all of the fishing advice and help..you guys rock!

We have been camping here for a few summers and they are always so friendly! Great place to have some good family time.

We found this park when some other places fell thru on our trip back home. We are so glad we did! Great park that we will definitely visit in the future. They accommodated us and welcomed us. We tried several parks and were turned down because we have 6 kids (ages 14 - 6). Five Branches was very family friendly. Firewood was awesome and reasonably priced. Bathrooms were clean. Showers were hot. But no hot water in the bathroom sinks, lines not even connected. But you can't beat the location and accomodations. Definitely recommend this park.

This is a lovely place to spend quality time where the Ladies that run the store/office are pleasant, kind, helpful and respectful if you treat them the same. The weekend breakfast is delicious, hot and well organized. It isn’t a 5 star resort where someone waits on you and grants your every wish but it certainly earns 5 stars in my book.
